Through Berkeley Industries, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain valuable opportunities to broaden their perspectives and gain essential interpersonal and social skills. The incorporation of enclave crews and an on-site sheltered workshop not only fosters efficiency, but also cultivates friendly and secure environments for growth and development.

Adult Sheltered Workshop
We accept contract work from private industries including small assembly, disassembly, salvage, recycling, packaging, and all aspects of mailing.
Enclave and Mobile Crews
We provide supervision, training, and transportation to people with disabilities to work alongside people with and without disabilities at local business job sites, performing tasks such as assembly-line production and janitorial services.
Competitive Employment
With the help of an individual employment specialist (IES), people with disabilities are given more hiring opportunities at local businesses. The IES works directly with new employees on a one-to-one basis in order to teach them the skills necessary to perform and maintain their jobs. As the employee becomes more comfortable with his or her duties, their IES gradually fades out of the workplace.
